Our tour begins with a comfortable transfer from your hotel in a private vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive through Cappadocia’s historic landscape before arriving at the 13th-century caravanserai—a mesmerizing Seljuk-era trade center that now hosts mystical performances for visitors.

Upon entering the caravanserai, you’ll be welcomed by the enchanting ambiance of its ancient stone walls. Before the ceremony begins, a short introduction will provide insight into the history of caravanserai. Then, under atmospheric lighting, the Mevlevi Whirling Dervish Ceremony begins. This centuries-old spiritual ritual,

accompanied by soothing music and the dervishes’ harmonious whirling, offers a moment of peace and reflection.

The dervishes’ circular movements symbolize the infinity of the universe and the soul’s journey toward unity with the divine.

• Silence is required during the performance; applause is not allowed.
• Eating, smoking, and drinking alcohol are not permitted during the ceremony.
• Photography is not allowed during the performance (however, after the ceremony, the dervishes will return to the stage for photo opportunities).
• Children under 7 years old are not allowed to attend.
• ‍ The performance features 1 lead dervish, 4 whirling dervishes, and 4 musicians.
• ️ Upon request, guests may have the opportunity to engage in a conversation with the dervishes after the ceremony.
